CMR: Compassionate Mindful Resilience Training Course

This course was developed by Karen Atkinson, CEO of MindfulnessUK, to integrate Mindfulness, compassion, and emotional resilience. It was officially approved by EAMBA in September 2024.

It is one of the first short Mindfulness protocols (4 weeks instead of 8) to receive European-level approval.

Course Details

Duration: 4 weeks
1 session per week, lasting 2 hours
Meditation practices are shorter (maximum 10 minutes)

Each week includes experiential exercises designed to strengthen both Mindfulness and emotional resilience.

Week 1: Exploring Mindfulness and Compassion

Learn the foundations of Mindfulness and discover how compassion can reshape your response to stress.

Week 2: Cultivating Emotional Intelligence

Explore techniques to enhance self-awareness, emotional regulation, and compassionate reactions.

Week 3: Building Resilience

Understand the neuroscience of resilience and develop tools to face and overcome challenges.

Week 4: Feeling Grounded and Connected

Integrate what you have learned using centering techniques and explore how to sustain your practice over time.
